Message from the Vice Chancellor

It gives me immense pleasure to have this opportunity to express my deepest feeling of gratitude to the Almighty for providing me with the scope to deliver this message. Every institution in the country is ours where skilled manpower and future leaders are generated. Even then, as the Vice Chancellor of the Presidency University, my primary concern and concentration should be for my present institution. As I understand, this university is growing and glowing having a lot of promises and aspirations inspite of confronting many hurdles and obstacles. The university management is employing constant efforts to harmonise all activities in multifarious dimensions.

Since inception I, in conjunction with others, have been putting sincere development efforts to bring progress in various dimensions for the university. For providing a big push and skyrocketing speed of advancement to the university, all concerned stakeholders should come forward for exerting their concerted efforts and integrated endeavors.

Management of the university plays a very influential role for enhancement of academic curricular activities, invigorating research environment, preserving calm and serene atmosphere, accelerating the pace of progress and boosting up moral strength of students, faculties and employees. Thus, I urge upon everyone involved in the management of the university to be more and more keen about the wellbeing of our Alma Mater. It is to be borne in mind that chaotic activities in the campus very severely jeopardise smooth functionings. For adequate protection of education friendly environment, there is an utmost need of devoted participatory role, honesty of purpose and sincere willingness of all concerned stakeholders. We all need to be connected to the university and proactively address all daunting and challenging issues. We should provide environment and culture so that students and teachers can unleash their potentials and shine. We do need to be student-centric and pay keen attention to nurture the students so that they can buildup themselves as skilled manpower and worthy citizens. All concerned personnel have to very eagerly consider it as a sine qua non to proactively come forward to provide stimulus to young minds so that they can harness all scopes and opportunities to strengthen dexterity and emulate competitors in facing the challenges of the real life world. I do most fervently believe that with the sincere co-operation and contributions from all concerned, the university will thrive and flourish to attain its long cherished goals.
