Presidency  University, Fall 2009

Course Advising & Registration

Dear Student

Fall 2009 will see you through Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Durga Puja, Eid-ul-Azha, and Christmas. The consequence of so many holidays is that the semester is not evenly spread.  Undivided attention is the only way to survive the fall semester. Return promptly after the holidays and be prepared for full speed.

Some of the information you need for advising and registration are attached below:

  1. An academic calendar for Fall 2009.
  2. Calendar Notes, that explain events on the academic calendar, and alerts you to the deadlines.
  3. A list of faculty members, who will be teaching the courses shown on the class schedule.
  4. A week planner, that helps to schedule your academic activities.

If you have not received this set of papers, please buy a set from the Business Center.

A Class Schedule and a list of courses will be posted in your department.
Changes to the class schedule and faculty assignments will be posted on notice boards, and updated copies will be available in the Business Center.
