Presidency  University, Summer 2008

Advising & Registration

Dear Student:

Focus your faculties and settle down to a ledger of classes and exams for a full fourteen weeks. The Buddha Purnima on May 20th is the only respite in summer 2008.  There will be no catching up once you are behind. To add dread to your drudgery, the heat, humidity, and rain, faltering power supply, mangoes, and hustings will all conspire to pull down your grades.  So get organized, leave nothing for later.  Summer 2008 will indeed test your student skills.

As you know, Thursdays and Saturdays are now regular class daysExpect to have classes on these days.

This registration package includes:

1.     An academic calendar for summer 2008.

2.     Calendar Notes, that explains events on the academic calendar, and alerts you to the deadlines imposed under University rules.

3.     A Class Schedule showing the days of the week, the time, and the classroom, for courses offered in the semester.

4.     A list of faculty members, who will be teaching the courses shown on the class schedule.

5.     A list of courses, with descriptions, that are shown on the class schedule.

6.     A week planner, that helps to schedule your academic activities.

If you have not received this set of papers, please buy a set from the Business Center.

Changes to the class schedule and faculty assignments will be posted on notice boards, and updated copies will be available in the Business Center.
